You might try this recipe one day also--I love this cereal!
STEEL-CUT OATS AND QUINOA CEREAL
1/2 cup steel-cut oats
1/2 cup quinoa, cooked
2 tbs. chia or flax seeds, ground fresh
1 small apple cored and chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp sea salt
1 cup almond or Ripple milk
walnuts and berries

Soak oats with the milk and a little lemon overnight. Cook quinoa according to pkg directions(I make a cup or two at a time) the night before for morning assembly. Place everything in saucepan except nuts and berries. Heat to satisfaction. Serve with berries and walnuts. So yummy

Yum, I love overnight oats! My basic recipe is very similar, but I make them with 1 cup milk, because my husband likes them very dense. I just mix in additional milk in my serving in the morning.

If you mix in one mashed banana and a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter (or other nut or seed butter) when making the oats in the evening, the result is even more delicious! I recommend you give it a try if you haven't yet.

Hi there
I know this sounds like a dumb question but if soaking the oats overnight does that mean you just eat the porridge cold or do you heat it up?
