Hi Valesca,
I have not tried the Magimix Cookexpert, so I cannot say much about it. I love my Magimix and my Thermomix, but I would say that it really depends on what you want to make with it. I use the Thermomix mainly for warm dishes like stews and soups, and Magimix for nut butter, hummus and other spreads. I’m sure the Magimix Cookexpert is also a great new invention. Ha – I know the choice is so hard!

thank you for letting me know about the Breville food processor. There are many brands out there that I have not tried, especially over in the U.S. or Canada. I will look it up and add it to the list.

It is fast, and it is a dream to clean. All the blades come in a nice container. The only downside, is that it is heavy…you would want to keep it in one place and not take it out and put it away. It also has two bowl sizes. It IS much more expensive than the Cuisinart, which is very commonly used here…but I don’t remember what I paid for it.

I’ve been thinking about which food processor to get for quite some time now, and I have kept the Magimix in mind since I read a praising recommendation about it on Elsa’s blog elsaswholesomelife. I am willing to spend more money in order to get a really good one instead of being unsatisfied short after and buying another one two years later. Your article was kinda like the last thing I needed to hear to go out and buy it 🙂
